I've read some of the Laurens players' posts on Twitter. It will tear at your heart. These kids never saw it coming. Never know when you might play that last down.

First Baptist has ended their season early due to a player testing positive for COVID. They were 9-0.
Laurens High has also called their season for the same reason.
Some heartbroken seniors and players all over the state today. Never take today for granted.

Liner is a first class, what you see is what you get, kind of coach. Greenwood has a lot to look forward to. A couple of years ago he held spring practice at Laurens and didn’t have enough arms to workout the receivers. Liner recognized the problem he asked a kid from the SCiSA school down the stree...

Abbeville has done a good job of growing players from the rec league on up. Those kids learn the plays at an early age and for the most part continue to play together all the way through school. That is certainly an advantage over other schools who pull kids in from different areas for high school. ...

Where are you heading tonight to watch your team?
My favorite team is 2 hours away, but we will definitely make the drive! Thanking God the rainy weather will hold off until tomorrow. These kids who are getting to play are fortunate.
