Well, MLB officially is underway now and there were some great individual performances, as well as a few great games.

Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg get off to good starts in Washington where a lot of great things are expected to happen and who knows the last time there was this much POSITIVE VIBS coming from Washington, DC????

The Braves get off to a good start at the plate and the long ball was flying in HOTLANTA.

David Kershaw shuts out the Giants and hits a solo home run, and we even had free baseball as Milwaukee and Colorado go extra innings.

And a special congrats to Jackie Bradley Jr, the former Gamecock, who started for the Red Sox on Opening Day!

When it is all said and done.... this is how I see the playoffs shaping up:

AL EAST - Toronto Blue Jays...........................N L EAST - Washington Nationals
AL CENTRAL - Chicago White Sox.....................N L CENTRAL - Cincinatti Reds
AL WEST - L A Angels...................................N L WEST - SF Giants

Wild Card - Oakland A's................................Wild Card - L A Dodgers
Wild Card - Baltimore Orioles.........................Wild Card - Atlanta Braves
