Man I am so ready baseball starts on Monday for high school and little league. I think that the front runners for the state title in high school ball have to be Riverside, Byrnes, Boiling Springs. Dark horses would Northwestern, Stratford, Wando, and Gaffney. Gaffney is very young this year but they are a good. They are basically a travel ball team that has been playing for the last 4 or 5 years together with the exeption of the Sr and Jrs. They will be fiesty and will grind it out until the last out but I think the youthfulness will get the best of them especially early in the season

I beleive Boiling Springs has a great chance this year as long as the injury bug does not bite. They have some good hitting and pitching this year. The hitters were not as good last year.
