FLORENCE — Facing its toughest test of the season, the West Florence baseball team passed with ease.
Akeem Bostick threw a complete game, and the seventh-ranked Knights used a big fourth inning to defeat third-ranked Sumter 8-1 on Monday in the first game of a three-game series.
