PREP ROUNDUP: Lexington blanks South in softball playoff opener

FLORENCE — Natalie Willis allowed just four hits while hurling a complete-game shutout to lead Lexington to a 3-0 win Wednesday over South Florence in the first round of the Class 4A, District VII softball playoffs.

Nichole Rogers took the loss while pitching all seven innings for South,. She struck out one and went 1-for-3 at the plate.
