Now hurry up and lose to a upstate team.lol
Really no rushing the field .I had hopes that some one would aquired a track hoe and have dug a ditch through the middle of that cesspool.

Ah, I see. I'm guessing the points against for Fort D in the 1st 3 weeks initiated the impression that the defense wasn't the strong point for the team. I'm also going to submit that the comment or comments I was hearing earlier in the season were probably not from Patriot fans.

But again it wasn't the score that was surprising but the fact that it was against an undefeated team. It would've raised my eyebrows even if I was aware of a strong Fort defense. Add into all of that the fact that I'm an upstate guy and it isn't that hard to understand why I might have quite considerably underestimated how stout the whole package really is.

I must say that I wouldn't at all expect a win for us if we meet you guys in the post season.

Dude I believe they can beat some teams.but the undefeated team they played was only 3 points ahead of us with 5 to go last week.on our 3rd or 4th option qb .its not very strong around here.are they pretty good yes are they what I would call a top 5 power no.plus its impossible to rate teams across the state accurately.

Ashley Ridge appeared to be (at least in the write ups and highlights I've seen) a very shaky undefeated team. They had many close calls against teams that they should have handled easily.

Agree with 2002Patriot on this one as well. This was a big win for Fort because it was against a rival to complete an undefeated season... but "the battle of the undefeated" part was alot of hype. Ashley Ridge could have easily been 3-6 as they trailed in the 4th quarter in 6 of their 9 games. Had it not been for some 4th quarter heroics from Ashley Ridge this game wouldn't have had much hype or been on anyone's radar. Should Fort and Dorman meet in the playoffs I think both teams fan bases would have legitimate reasons to feel confident their team would win. It would be an interesting match-up and a fun 2nd round game for both sides (except the long bus ride)

First I will say Ft. Carved us up like a thanksgiving turkey...Yes AR could have been 3-6 as easy as they were 9-0...Lets see here at the the first of the year AR was picked by most as 4th or 5th in the region. Losing to a good team like Ft. hurts but we have exceeded expectations. Yes AR offense sputtered like they said and have been for the last few games (Running the same plays over and over with moderate success, oh I better stop I am sounding like a Summerville fan). Honestly Ft. played more inspired and I think when the TD got called back right before half for AR that killed all of the momentum AR had.
Second as for Summerville being 3 points down in last five minutes yes you were. Summerville likes to say they had injury's well AR has/have multiple injuries MLB was out (For the year), DT injured on a cheap shot in first quarter, patch work OL, RB injured, WR hurt, oh and just heard this weekend QB for AR has been playing with a fractured index finger on his throwing hand since the Summerville game. Yet when it mattered that same QB carved Summerville up like a turkey in those last 5 minutes and the whole game (around 350 yds passing and 3 TD) with a hurt throwing hand to take a 31-21 lead and to top it off yes we ran an INT back for a TD to cap it off. So you can say you had a 3rd string QB but weeks before all everyone heard was how Summerville was needing this NEW QB to win as well as a new play caller and yet neither helped you in this case and yes all everyone heard is if summerville had a new play caller these kids could win because the "wave" has talent, so now the excuses start rolling like a typical Summerville fan always does.
Oh and just for good measure since the summerville fans have continued to cry about AR students...Well I guess it hurts even more knowing that Summerville has played 5 games on their home field to get to a 1-4 home record while AR is 2-0 on your field this year, guess AR students were confused since they had more experience running onto that field after win this year then Summerville Students did.

BAM NEXT....I guess there is nothing else to say . Speaking of Thanksgiving Turkey, it is almost that time of year to drive my neighbors crazy with the smell of an apple smoked Turkey on Thanksgiving morning.

Somebody is a little upset    ! I can't argue with any point you made Swampfox1 except for the point about us calling for the QB. The only person I know of wanting the Freshman was the old OC and we see how much he knew about football. Anyone who had been around the program knew the kid wasn't ready. So enjoy your win over Summerville this season, and continue to talk trash about winning on our field etc. No one can really say what the outcome would have been if both teams were completely healthy, but I would take our chances. This is not diminishing Duncan as a player at all! I think Duncan and the LB Brown are really good football players, and I actually think they both should have made the North/South team. It's the little brother syndrome that I can do without. Like when your little brother finally gets a good hit and poses to celebrate before BIg Bro beats him down and finishes the fight, same thing with you guys. I mean lets not forget that you guys are the school that has shot fireworks during games the last few seasons only to get beat! You guys are the school that rushes the field and vandalizes property after beating a team with a losing record. So I know you are salty about getting blown off the field by The Fort, but that doesn't mean you need to pick on poor little Summerville!

I'll add some .everyone has beat us no big deal.we expected that.almost everyone who passes ate up our d well that runs to .see wando.hell see a few teams.I was extatic that we kept it that close.
As for your students not all are bad I'm sure i know a few.but enough came over to the fort section starting mess that several officers had to come over Friday night.how do I know this my daughters a senior at fort.she was keeping me informed on what was going on.I told her if it got any worse head home .the chant you don't go here....
Back to football.
The new qb we needed was 9 not 2 .2 doesn't pass as well as 9 at this point in his career.to little to late for us.
Y'all are the better team.Duncan kid is probably the best pure qb around here in the pocket.he passes better than Joyner.I believe Joyner is a better outside the pocket guy.
The off field shinanigans is what makes the hate.even fort has calmed down .it ain't just this year.every year ar does something.but I'll give y'all this at least 12yr old girls ain't walking past the stands shooting the Byrd at the crowd like cane bay.A.R is very close to becoming gaffney south.
Anyways good luck in the playoffs.
