College, hey, they get millions and they get buy outs, so I am not so upset for them, but in high school, it is different. As a fan, you get upset and yell and scream at the idiots who call themselves "COACH" and you want them gone!!!! But they are men with families to support and they are doing the job the best they can....
That said, you have to look at it from the "non-personal" side as well. If you have an employee at work who doesn't perform to the level that you expect, you take action that ranges from verbal warning to dismissal. That is what the school and the administration have to do as well.
