Changing of the Guard

Post by STChamp 92 »

Byrnes, losses in the Semi's 4 years in a row
Gaffney, First round losses two years in a row .500 seasons consecutively
Dorman, State Championship defeat
Spartanburg, big disappointment after expected trophy for 2015

Can these traditionals fight against the New World Order?

The Fort Dorchesters, Dutch Forks, Goose Creeks, Hillcrests of the world?

The only "Traditional Power" that seems to be carrying the torch is Northwestern

Hate to break it ti you... that's actually three straight first round losses for the Indians...unfortunately...and NOT .500 all three years either... unfortunately...

2012 - State Championship Win vs DF 34-22
2013 - Loss home vs Boiling Springs 48-41
2014 - Loss road @ Fort Dorchester 37-24
2015 - Loss road @ Byrnes 34-26

2013 - 8-4 finish (.667)
2014 - 4-8 finish (.333)
2015 - 6-6 finish (.500)

Someone is going to have to step in up in 5A Region III next year...the traditional powers are being over run by the "other guys"

Lol as much as I hate to admit we've lost in the first round three straight years....it makes a bigger impact than two years does when you talk about changing of the guard and all...puts into perspective what other teams are doing compared to what we've done...lol
