Which 5A Region 3 School will miss the playoffs this year?

Post by SCPrepTalk »

Without question, the toughest 5A Football Region in the Upstate in 2016.

Some would argue that all 5 schools could or should be ranked in the top 15 of the polls.
But only 4 of the 5 schools will make the playoffs this year.

I doubt the Viqueens even win a game this year, and especially not a Region game at that.

Spartan High has to be the early leader in the clubhouse but I have serious questions about Boiling Springs now. Also don't underestimate Gaffney's coaching staff, The Tribe has plenty of young talent but nothing would surprise me, tbh.

Man it depresses me to say it but I'm wondering if it will be Dorman and Gaffney will be battling for 4th place. Dorman is 0-2 but we lost to two very good teams who had serious 2nd half mojo.

It was the opposite last year, we'd gain steam in the 2nd half but weren't able to overcome some sputtering starts. Tonight against Hillcrest should tell us more about whether Dorman belongs in the playoffs. I don't know anything about Gaffney this year except that a lot of fans are still disgruntled about the coaching situation. Is it still sandlot football over there this year?

Oddly enough, the team that missed out last year might be the best team in the region this year. Too early to tell though.

Ok, Dorman up by a couple of possessions now Hillcrest. DeCav is feeling a little more comfortable!

Don't count my vote. Because I voted after I already knew. But I tried not to be a homer though and vote against Vic. Speaking of which, I'm planning on lowering the boom on him on the other site sometime this afternoon.

Anyway I feel like I'd have voted that way back then but apparently I thought it'd be us or gaffney. So maybe you should change my vote to gaffney cause I can't pull the lever against my Cavs.
