Congrats to Devonte Holloman on being named Beaufort's next Head Football Coach. I was hoping that Holloman would have gotten the job. I think that he will do a great job as Beaufort's Head Football Coach. Coach Holloman has done a wonderful job as Beaufort's Defensive Coordinator these last 2 seasons. Holloman was also a great football player at South Carolina and in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys. I wish him the best at Beaufort.

This move is fantastic. We will now have a coach who can motivate ALL of the best athletes at Beaufort High to participate, not just those whose parents were willing to pay through the booster club. Beaufort should now return to the glory days of being able to compete athletically, with anyone in the state. Mark Clifford was a fairly good x's and o's coach, but a poor motivator of young men. When Jerry Hatcher left to take the job at We Don't Need It High School, Beaufort High lost it motivational leader. I see this as an exceptional move.

No Slick. I agree with some of the points that the Penguin made. I do believe that Coach Holloman is a great hire for Beaufort and will definitely motivate the kids. I am really anxious to see what he does with My Eagles Football Team.
