Greenwood's defense smothers Wade Hampton in 27-0 win

Rhett is a pro-style quaterback. Change the offense some to fit his skill set. We need to be 65/35 pass run ratio. Let Rhett pass it around to ALL the receivers like in 7 on 7. We in the spread offense so let's have some FUN slinging it around but don't abandon the run.

He isn't going to pass it more than he runs it. Although he should, we don't exactly have bruising tailbacks currently. He has increased on passing though. The last few games have been at least 20 attempts passing. When he came he told us it would be around 60/40. On average he has been about 80/20, maybe even closer to 90 percent run at times. So much so that the defenses know what's coming. It's okay if they know if you have big bruising backs with good blocking.

I feel yall pain Greenwood fans. At fort we have a young team and our OC playcalling is vanilla at best. He wont loosen up and open the playbook. He is playing not.to lose instead of to win. The qb wont turn it over. He has like maybe 4 its in 7 games if that. And 2 were tipped passes. Coaches need to play to win and not be conservative

Playing not to lose in big games and ends up losing. Exactly. Maybe we should have an oc. Worked for Coach Dula. Sometimes you need help. We all do.

I'm sorry but that just might be stretch at this point. He's just not that type of coach. Babb, Dula, and Cathcart were all "In your face" hard nosed type coaches. Pippin is more of a finesse type coach. If we blow someone out it will be because we have really good skill position players. It won't be from just pushing someone around. I'm afraid this is who we've become. I seen it years ago when we starting losing to teams we haven't lost to in 15/16 years.........
