Both teams wanted to finish but the second delay time was another hour and they wouldn’t have returned to the field until 2:30 so it was just called. I hope there’s still talk about finishing on Monday.

Game is finished. Tie. Just as last year, there is no way if I am MC I would travel to DF Monday to play, even five minutes, with my historically most comparable rival on Friday. This year, due to later starting season, Monday is the first day of school. Don't think four hours on a bus is the way to start it.

SilverFox, I don't think people get it. Players ate pregame meals before 3pm. Every piece of equipment and uniforms were soaked.

I left at 12:10 am. It was still lightening heavily and the rain was down to a drizzle but it had been literal sheets of pouring rain ten minutes before. If they get on the field at 1am and MC does not score and DF does not score do they play OT? I think not.

Watch out for Elijah Spencer (#11 who made the catch). He’s just a junior but had 5 receptions for 102 yards and a TD last night.

The Simpson kid from Mallard Creek is the best athlete on the field. The former NW QB is the best player on the field.

He’s a beast but they had no one who could guard Jalin Hyatt. Olenchuk had a much better game than Noller as well.

Of course Olenchuk had a better game. When you have the LB/RB running through DF for almost 200 yards. No need to throw.

No DF couldn't run the ball it was obvious and MC was doing both, and passing to keep them out the box.. DF has an incredible passing game though.
