If anyone in AA has a better defense than Abbeville, I'd like to see it... we harassed SSC's coveted QB the whole night, he threw 4 picks... also kept the big RB in check... they had averaged over 50 points a game coming into tonight. Our offense is still a work in progress but we threw a long bomb for the go ahead score on 3rd and long and stopped the Sabres on 4th and 1 in Abbeville territory to pretty much seal the deal. Maybe the SSC coach will actually give us some credit this time, he has flat out refused to do so the times we've beat them the past few years.

i have watched the PANTHERS play many times over
the years.the defense looks as good as i have seen
at ABBEVILLE.the PANTHERS also over came some
big penalities in the game.

The defense definitely won this game. Hats off to them. Still scratching my head over this QB rotation we are doing on offense. It's crystal clear to me, at this point, that we are better with our starter from last year at the helm, rather than at RB. Most of the time our QB is just another RB anyway, I simply don't get it. QB handles ball every play, can run at any time. Also threw a perfect td pass late when we needed it. SC was purely daring us to throw all night, it was there at any time but you have to call it. We finally did and I am happy for that. Our offense is better than 14 points, we shouldn't be afraid to call some plays that take advantage of what their D is giving us. The penalties hurt too I know, and I'm not even going to get into that officiating except to say that it was suspect, to say the least. At one point we has 4 holding penalties to 0 for SC.
