WAYNE COUNTY GA 41 BEAUFORT 14 FINAL 9/13/19

Beaufort lost 41-14 to a very good Wayne County Georgia team this past Friday Night. The Yellow Jackets completely dominated this game. Wayne County Moved the ball on the ground and thru the air. Beaufort's offense did move the ball but turnovers hurt them again. Beaufort's defense needs a lot of help. The Eagles are very young on that side of the ball and we have a new defensive cord. this season. So it will take some time for the Eagles "D" to get it all together.

Congrats to Wayne County on the win and good luck in the rest of your season. I was really impressed with the crowd at the game. Wayne County's side of the stadium was full and there were even a lot of their fans on Beaufort's side. Even though it was a 2 hour and 15 minute drive to Jesup Georgia I thought that Beaufort's crowd was pretty good. In both of Beaufort's away games the Eagle Cheerleaders were not there. I don't think that is right. I think the Beaufort Cheerleaders should be at every football game. I know that it costs money to send them to the games but back when I played they were at every game. It will also help with the attendance at the games as their parents would travel to the games.

I was really impressed with Wayne County's Football Team. I look for them to have another great season this year. As for My Beaufort Eagles the Eagles defense will have to get better. Beaufort's defense could not stop the run or pass against Wayne County. The LB'S and DB'S will have to play better. The Eagles defense also missed a ton of tackles. So I would work on tackling drills this week. Beaufort's best RB/ATHLETE James Dagin got hurt in this game. I hope that he is able to return soon. Beaufort needs to get the ball in his hands more. Plus Beaufort's OL has to get better. The OL couldn't block at all in this game. I thought the OL would be Beaufort's strong point. But they have struggled protecting the QB so far this season.

Well up next is another tough game against undefeated and the winningest high school football team in America The Valdosta Wildcats. Hopefully My Beaufort Eagles will have a good showing against them.

Ha Ha Newcat. I agree that Coach Cribb is a good coach. He does have a really good team over at Wayne County.
