Slick beat me to it!!!! But yes My Beaufort Eagles lost 38-24 this past Friday Night October 4th to Effingham County Georgia. I still love My Eagles but I am so frustrated right now. Beaufort had plenty of chances to win this game. Yes Effingham County is better then there 2-4 record. But Beaufort is killing themselves with bad penalties, not tackling well, and making the wrong play calls. The Eagles should have won this game.

Effingham County gave up 400 yards rushing 2 weeks ago and their run defense is terrible. I don't know why Beaufort didn't run the ball more against the Rebels. The Eagles were doing great when they ran the ball. Beaufort should have handed the ball off to their RB'S a lot more then they did in this game. Beaufort's offense moved the ball most of the night against Effingham County but should have scored a lot more then they did. Congrats to Effingham County on the win. The Rebels had a good crowd at the game and their stadium is a nice facility. I would love for Beaufort to keep Effingham County on their Schedule next year as Springfield Ga. is only a 1 hour and 20 min drive from my house. Not too bad.

Beaufort's defense I thought played a little better but gave up too many big plays. Plus giving up 38 points in a game is bad. Beaufort QB Tyler Haley got hurt in this game. I wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he is able to play next week.

Beaufort falls to 0-5 on the season. Next up is A BIG REGION 7 4A Game against arch rival Bluffton next week at Home. I hope that Beaufort is able to open up the Region with a win. I am already anxious about this game!!!! It should be a good one to watch.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!
