Woodruff is traveling to Union County to take on the Yellow Jackets in what is for all intents and purposes the Region 3-3A title. Woodruff enters with a 4-2 record and UC is 3-3. Both teams are scoring at a near identical rate on offense while the numbers show Woodruff is slightly better defensively.

The only common opponent, Chapman, defeated UC 52-37 and Woodruff 49-35.

Should Woodruff win, their remaining games with Emerald, Mid Carolina and Clinton do not appear to pose much of a challenge. Likewise with Union County, making this game the defacto region title match-up.

Legend will now go back into hiding for a little while. Usually does after the annual popping of the balloon with another beat down from Union. But they have three cupcakes left in the regular season, so figure he will pop back up before the playoffs. But will then go away quickly with another playoff collapse.
