As for this game. It was a pretty good game in the first half with Beaufort only leading Hilton Head 21-14. But in the 2nd Half it was all Eagles. Beaufort ran the ball great all night. The Eagles had about 340 yards rushing and 110 yards passing the ball. Beaufort RB James Dagin had 165 yards rushing and 2 TDS. Beaufort QB Daniel Phares had 118 yards rushing with 2 TDS and he also threw the ball for 110 yards and 1 TD.
I thought Beaufort's Defense played a pretty good game also. They kept Hilton Head QB Gaston Moore in check for most of the night and also completely stopped the Seahawks running game most of the night. The Eagles Defense is getting better and better.
What a turn around it has been the last 3 weeks for Beaufort. The Eagles killer Schedule at the first half of the season seems to really be helping Beaufort at the right time. Also ever since Beaufort starting QB Tyler Haley went down with an injury and backup QB/Starting WR Daniel Phares took over The Eagles have been a completely different team. Phares has really looked great running the Eagles new Option Offense. Plus James Dagin is really looking like one of the best RBS in the State. I am so glad that Dagin got picked for the North-South Game. Beaufort's OL also had another great game.
Good luck to Hilton Head the rest of their Season. Beaufort has now swept the 3 teams from Southern Beaufort County in Bluffton, Hilton Head and May River.
. Way to go Eagles!!!!I also want to praise the Beaufort Coaching Staff on a great Job these last 3 weeks. This is their 1st season all together with the New Head Coach and I think they are doing a great job.
I was almost dead on with my prediction on this game. I predicted that Beaufort would beat Hilton Head 38-19 and Beaufort won 38-21. Wow.
.This was a BIG WIN for Beaufort and I hope that they keep it up and win the region at Colleton County next Friday Night. This game will be the closest for me as I only live about 3 miles from Colleton County's Stadium. I am already so excited about this game.
I also was so happy to see that Beaufort brought a good size crowd to the game at Hilton Head. I hope to see a huge crowd at Colleton County also. Well I was able to celebrate after another Big Win by my Eagles this weekend. COME ON EAGLES LET'S WIN THE REGION NEXT WEEK!!!!
