don’t overthink things, the gaffney defense is rounding into shape and dominated from start to finish. gaffneys best defensive game since jemari littlejohn was injured by far!
Re: Gaffney vrs Rock Hill
Doubt you will see that change. Dont know if Gaffney has a personnel problem, or a recognition problem. But this isn't new. Two months ago they couldnt keep Union from coming free into the backfield. But they have enough talent and speed with skill players that they get by with it against all but the elite teamsOnion Rings wrote:Gaffney wins but had a lot of trouble with RH's blitzing. I like the Gaffney D. The Dline has good size and the Linebacker #4 had his name called all night. Sumter should be a good test for themnotabyrnesfan wrote:don’t overthink things, the gaffney defense is rounding into shape and dominated from start to finish. gaffneys best defensive game since jemari littlejohn was injured by far!

On offense, I'm just surprised that Gaffney had so much trouble with RH's blitzing because they were showing it. They were walked up and coming 5, 6, and 7 man pressures. A good coach could check the play and really make the D pay for that
in the 2nd half they threw a little to the RB out of the backfield, which is a good blitz buster if you pick the man who has the rb, but they need a better check system

@ the Byrnes game, if they had more plays in the book, it may have been a different game other than just their vanilla flavored offense.....and yeah I remember that Littlejohn, (the player) was injured and didnt play and yalls QB twisted his knee or ankle that hame as well.
