Don't think we've heard the last of Aynor. Congrats Region 6 3A Champions.Aynor's perfect season ends in loss to May River.
Coach Jason Allen told his players that he has never been more proud to be associated with a group of young men as he is with this year’s squad. “This team is the best that’s ever put on an Aynor uniform,” he said. “You lost only one game and one of the wins was against Dillon.”

Re: May River 36, Aynor 22 - Final
Yes, Aynor is to be congratulated on a great season. They defeated the Mighty Wildcats only to win the right to face May River. Varnville managed to defeat May River to earn the right to play Dillon. Dillon and May River now appear to be on a collision course for a Lower State Finals meeting at May River. Those 4 teams, all of them, have proven to be the top tier of Class 3A in the Lower State. Only 1 will win it, but all 4 easily could have. Class 3A is the most competitive in the State this year. Great coaching, and great performances by these 4 Lower State power houses.
Add in Chapman, Chester, Onion County, Newberry, and Camden, from the Upper State, and it is easy to see that Class 3A is loaded this season. Congratulations to every one of those teams.
