If District 50 combined Greenwood and Emerald into one high school, they'd beat anybody in 5A.

A lot of quality talent that Greenwood had with Cathcart started coming over to Emerald because they didn't want to play for Dan Pippin. Pretty crazy to think some people would want their kids to play for Mac over Pippin.

Greenwood didn't change until 2014. Let's see how the next coach does. Doesn't mean a coach is a bad person, but it has to be the right fit for the school. Mike Martin was a great person but was a bad fit for Greenwood when he was there. Let's just take a we'll see approach on it.
I have to agree. Just like Tommy Bowden at Clemson from 1999-2008. Great guy but wrong fit for Clemson. He could never take Clemson to the next level.

1999 Clemson 6–6 5–3 2nd L Peach
2000 Clemson 9–3 6–2 2nd L Gator 14 16
2001 Clemson 7–5 4–4 T–4th W Humanitarian
2002 Clemson 7–6 4–4 T–5th L Tangerine
2003 Clemson 9–4 5–3 3rd W Peach 22 22
2004 Clemson 6–5 4–4 T–6th Declined*
2005 Clemson 8–4 4–4 3rd (Atlantic) W Champs Sports 21 21
2006 Clemson 8–5 5–3 T–2nd (Atlantic) L Music City
2007 Clemson 9–4 5–3 2nd (Atlantic) L Chick-fil-A 22 21
2008 Clemson 3–3‡ 1–2 T–2nd (Atlantic)
Clemson: 72–45 43–32

You see what happens when you put in the right coach. Look what Dabo is doing with Clemson!!!

So who on the current staff did Pippin recommend to replace him if you are going to compare using Dabo? LOL

 That's funny right there, I don't care who you are. We had some strong defensive coordinators, but they left. Temple, Addis, Towe, were very good. Even Reuben and Andrew Ford were good. Reuben didn't stay long and Andrew.... Let's just say he left and leave it there. He is very energetic at Eastside. Coaches freely.

The team at Fort Mill started a petition on change.org for a coaching change. Not good after 2 years that the kids start a petition asking for a coaching change.

I dont know a thing about that coach at FM, or his methods that obviously have some upset. But saw Fort Mill a couple of times this year, and in the coach's defense, he doesnt have a lot of talent to work with. You could drop the best coaching staff in the state in that school and there is a limited ceiling on just how good they can be right now.
