CF has a big offensive line as well. They will hit DF hard where they are weakest by pounding the run. Right now Carolina Forest needs to stick to their gameplan all year and believe in themselves. They need to catch the balls they need to catch and Mason needs to be confident in his ability to carry his team with his legs. His legs could be the difference. DF is going to try to test CF's resolve by going after CF's secondary with the long balls. Whether up or down CF needs to stick with the gameplan of pounding the ball and believe they can stay in the game. Nobody believes CF is going to win this game including me, but the ingredients are there for a Hillcrest like upset.

Our line wasnt small all 300 (not slop 300 either)plus except center.they like to slant in on you clog the gaps we shoulda went outside but failed in many other areasalso .athletically reminded us of Berkeley.but there speed as a unit and execution is solid. Athlete vs individual athlete they are simular to a lot of teams or even out done.but as a unit the close in quickly and are spot on in thier assignments.Mania wrote:CF has a big offensive line as well. Good luck next week!!!!
You obviously did not, and probably still do not, realize that Myrtle Beach, when healthy, may be the BEST team in the state, sorry Dutch Fork. I watched the Hawks in person when they destroyed Hartsville. Most games this season, the Hawks had a 28 point lead at the end of the 1st quarter. Losing to the Hawks does not make a team weak. Both Carolina Forest and Clover, flew under the radar all year, yet were a couple of the top teams in 5A.
3 Region Champions were ducks going into the playoffs. Fort Dork, Duck Ditch, and Laurens. The best teams from weak Regions. I know Region 3 was weak as well, but Clover was not. Same for Carolina Forest and Region 6. I am going to give Region 5 and Sumter a pass. Spring Valley was stronger than a lot of people thought.
If Myrtle Beach, at full strength, played anyone in 5A, they would have won, or lost by one score or less.
Chapman is head and shoulders above anyone else in 3A.
Abbeville is the best team and best program that Class 2A has ever seen.
As for 1A, I have no idea because I haven't seen a 1A game in over 20 years. On paper. Green Sea-Floyds or Wagener-Salley look to be the 2 best teams.
The "Godfather" didn't whine like The "Slobfather" is doing, when he got INDICTED!!!!!

You are correct. It's not so much about MB, just the weakness of the rest of their schedule. Additionally, they advanced through the weakest branch of the 5A bracket, it all comes to an end this week.Penguin wrote:SF Band dad wrote:I didn't think they were.
