Parking at Williams-Brice stadium

Post by SF Band dad »

Does anyone know why the Fairgrounds parking was closed yesterday?

$10 to get into the parking area to the southwest AND it's on the opposite side of the stadium from the ticket office.

I noticed that as that is where I had parked last year. I noticed upon leaving that apparently they decided to turn it into one of those Christmas light show drive thru deals this year. Left during 3rd qtr of Wren game as we were freezing after sitting in shade all day. Saw a total of about 5 cars driving through that thing as we left. Big money maker.

Guess the light show is a month long deal and they figure they can make more off of that than one day of football at 10 bucks a pop. True, just by the nature of layout Clemson has more parking. But they dont need to take the championship games there. Not fair to the lower state teams, and their followers. Just as having it at Coastal Carolina wouldnt be fair for the upstate teams. Leave it in Columbia where it is at most a two hour ride for anybody

Yes i agree but they could put a better effort to make it a more pleasant experience for the fans.
