We can go back and forth all day about rough neighborhoods, get up there behind the Beacon, go on over to Hilly Hill, swing by the Sugar Shack.
Bottom line is that if Emerald had "the best talent in all of football", they would have won more than 1.

You're missing the point still. The point being Greenwood doesn't lack talent and coaching is indeed atrocious at Emerald.Jimmyccorn76 wrote:We can go back and forth all day about rough neighborhoods, get up there behind the Beacon, go on over to Hilly Hill, swing by the Sugar Shack.

Re: Emerald
And I do not disagree with your statement of atrocious coaching, but I do disagree that the "best talent in all of football" can be found there. I won't fold on that one.
Re: Emerald
That wasn't my statement. But Greenwood is definitely an athletically talented town. Have sent a fair share for it's size to the NFL.Jimmyccorn76 wrote:And I do not disagree with your statement of atrocious coaching, but I do disagree that the "best talent in all of football" can be found there. You are changing words here to fit your narrative.Jimmyccorn76 wrote:We can go back and forth all day about rough neighborhoods, get up there behind the Beacon, go on over to Hilly Hill, swing by the Sugar Shack.

I said they had an offensive line that is the best in all of SC high school football last year and it was completely wasted by a HC who abruptly decided to change his scheme to something he had NEVER coached in 30+ years of coaching.
Their starting left tackle this year will probably be one of the top five prospects in the state in 2021 when he's a senior.

No, you didn't say they were the best in "SC" football. You said they were the best in ALL of football. Re read, and understand how YOU are manipulating.

This is a site is literally called SCPrepTalk. Why would I be comparing them to anyone else?Jimmyccorn76 wrote:No, you didn't say it was the best in "SC" football. You said it was the best in ALL of football. Re read, and understand how YOU are manipulating.
You entered this thread to talk trash about a team's record and then proceeded to argue about which cities had more dangerous areas. A team you know clearly nothing about.
What are you contributing here? It is honestly a waste of time. Trolling at it's finest. If you don't want to discuss Emerald or Greenwood football, you do not have to. There are plenty of other threads on here or you can obviously start your own.
Re: Emerald
I heard that Tad Dubose the athletic director and assistant
at Abbeville will be the Emerald coach.
