Never heard of the guy until today. But surely there were better people that interviewed there.

Re: Mooney to Laurens
Where is he coming from?
We won't really know if he's a good hire until a few years down the road, to be perfectly honest with you. Just because some of us have never heard of him (me included), doesn't mean he won't be a strong head coach.
Everyone has to start somewhere.

Agree, No Fly, I don't know who applied or even interviewed there, but there had to be some "established" coach's with experience. Have to start somewhere, yes, but not a school like this. Start smaller and work your way up. May be an unpopular opinion, just my thoughts. I'm sure people will disagree.

Re: Mooney to Laurens
The only coach I know of in state is Rodney Mooney who coaches currently at Woodland as OC. In Dorchester County. No Fly Zone wrote:Still don't know who Mooney is.StateChampsGHS wrote:I think Mooney could be a good coach for Laurens.MrFootball68 wrote:All the great candidates and this is the best Lauren's can do.
