Being In the Right Division is Like Playing the Right Tees in Golf

Back in 1989, I had the opportunity to play PGA West golf course when all the PGA Tour players were raising hell about it being so hard. I actually shot a pretty good round there and inquired to the pro his thoughts on why all the bitching and moaning from the Pros? His response was "You can't hit it as far as they do." You see they would hit it into the neck of the fairway where I and my friends hit it into the widest part which was Pete Dye's intention.

The comparison is that we all want to be Pros and hit the ball as they do, buy the clubs and balls they play, wear the same shirts, shoes, and hats thinking that we will be able to be like them when the reality is we never will. Some teams have been realigned back into divisions where now they are competitive and have a great chance of being great once again. This is no slight on them, that is why just like in golf there are divisions too.

I am truly excited to see some of these teams doing well and look forward to them match playing themselves into the Championship in the near future. Know what tee you are to play from so you don't have to take extra strokes getting to the green!

Your right when there are that many people that don't have one on. Hope to see your Bambi's play the Patsy's at the end of the season, but I may avoid games until then. This weather change has got my allergies acting up. Don't desire to keep getting a test every time I cough to protect the grandbabies and wife.
