They better be worried about Sumter.

We look pretty good but there are still some rough patches, and you can't overlook the fact that our opponents so far have a combined record of 12-24.
I must not be watching the same games you are... There are some very MINOR patches than can be fixed, but Sumter??? They've lost to Blythewood, Crestwood, North Augusta, and Stratford. I know that were not going to take ANYONE lightly.
How many times did we turn the ball over Thursday night? I honestly don't know since I spent most of the game working on band equipment. Was it 4? More? Ridge View was only able to capitalize on one of them, we can give our defense some credit for that. But I can't help but think that a good team would have made us pay dearly for those mistakes.

We had TWO turnovers, one was pick that we got back on the next play that was a pick 6. The next one was a fumble late in the 4th when the game was pretty much over...

I'll have to defer to your number since I didn't see most of the game. I thought I saw two tipped passes intercepted but the stats summary on SCNow only shows one INT. I won't call out particular skills or players but there are some elements of the game that will need to improve as we face some tougher opponents.

Sumter did get beat by Crestwood, and we handled them easily. But I don't think we have faced any opponents that match-up to the other three that beat Sumter. (Blythewood, North Augusta & Stratford.)

I just watched the WBTW highlights. Including that one late in the 4th, we gave up at least 3 turnovers.

Who cares how many T/O we had, the fact is they couldn't capitalize on it!! I bet all these other to notch teams had T/O's as well!!!

The fact of the matter is this, Sumter IS NOT going to beat us period!

Quotes of SF Head Coach, David Prince, after the win against Ridge View:

"We had to come out tonight and execute. Sometimes we did that, and sometimes we didn't, but the scoreboard doesn't quite indicate how poorly we played."

“They [Sumter] have been a thorn in our side. We are in the same situation as last year. We have had a good start and they have struggled. But they cut our behinds good last year and we got to take this game very seriously.”
