May River vs Hilton Head Island cancelled

Wow.....Hilton Head has only played 2 games this year because of the Corona Virus. This is the 2nd time that some Hilton Head players tested positive for Covid. Hilton Head will have to cancel their next 2 games this week against May River and next week against My Beaufort Eagles. These were 2 key Region 7 4A Games. I have no idea how this Region is going to do with the rest of their season. The Region 7 4A Athletic Directors are suppose to meet next week to determine on what they will do. Someone posted on Twitter that Hilton Head may not qualify for the playoffs since this is their 2nd case of positive tests of Covid. I am anxious to see what the outcome will be. What does everyone think this Region should do. So with this I wonder if Beaufort will try and schedule another game next week against someone.

This now means that Beaufort High is the Region 7AAAA Champions for the second straight year. As for the Head, Dairy Queen em'. If this season is going to be completed before Easter, some of these schools are just going to have to either bow out or get kicked out. The Head has messed up our schedule for 2 weeks out of the 7 now. Bye Felicia!

We shall see what happens when the Region 7 4A AD'S meet next week. But I agree with you that with Hilton Head canceling these Games because of having Covid Cases that they should forfeit these games.
