*BEAUFORT-55-----WALTERBORO-0*

Post by Penguin »

11 to nothing after 1st quarter. 25-zip at halftime. 39-0 End of 3rd. Starters played only 1 series in the 2nd half. Second string scores 2 TDs and a safety in the final quarter. Double Nickels for the Eagles tonight.

As a team, Walterboro was the best team that we have played all season. They had some big, strong, athletic, players and they were able to control the flow of the game by keeping our high powered offense on the sideline for extended periods of time. Our defense had some lapses that resulted in big first downs to keep drives alive for the Dawgs. They also forced us to punt for the 3rd time this season. I tip my cap to their coaches and players. They played hard, fought hard, and will be better for their efforts, unlike one team who's coach quit on them after just 2 quarters with the Eagles.

So, no game with Hilton Head, who has forfeited any playoff opportunities. Beaufort has clinched the Region 7AAAA Championship and the Home Field advantage throughout the playoffs in the Lower State. We are going to Savannah on November 6th to play Benedictine Prep. They are a private, football academy. They are scholarship players, recruited from all over the State of Georgia. We will have our work cut out for us that week. Next week? It is currently a secret, but we have a game lined up and it will be announced tomorrow by the coaches and our AD.

I will just say this, we will find out who we are next week.

Thanks, but we are going to Savannah and have to play at Memorial Stadium. Our game on the 30th, against a ranked 5A school, will tell us where we actually are. Looking forward to a 48 minute test.

Our offense has been unstoppable all season against Region competition. We are about to play a game that will prep us for the upcoming playoffs and help us build even stronger. DaVonte Holliman put together the schedule that had us play Valdosta, Wayne County, and Effingham County. Add in 2 trips to Blythewood, and we took a pretty good spanking, but those games made us much better. 2 straight years of undefeated Region play. Many props to coach H.

Congrats to My Beaufort Eagles Football Team on another Big Region 7 4A win!!!! Beaufort completely dominated this game on both sides of the ball. On Offense Beaufort QB Tyler Haley had a big game throwing the football with 261 yards passing and 2 TD'S. Eagles RB Amariee Morris rushed for 137 yards and 2 TD'S. Beaufort's Offense had over 500 total yards in this game.

On Defense Beaufort against played Lights Out!!!! The Eagles improve to 4-0 Overall and 4-0 in Region 7 4A. Beaufort is now REGION 7 4A CHAMPS for the 2nd Year in a row!!!! The Eagles under Head Coach Bryce Lybrand has not lost a Region Game in his 2 years as the Head Coach at Beaufort. Beaufort is 7-0 in Region 7 4A the last 2 years. Congrats Eagles!!!!

I have to say that My Eagles look really good. They are a complete football team overall. This is the best Beaufort Team that I have seen in years. Beaufort was able to pick up a game next week against a very good football team in Carolina Forest. Carolina Forest is 4-1 Overall and Beaufort is 4-0. This game should be one of the best games in the State next week.

I want to say that even though the score doesn't show it. Colleton County has a pretty good Football Team. The Cougars were able to move the ball a little on Beaufort and I was impressed with them. Colleton County has some good athletes on their team. Good luck to The Cougars on the rest of their season.

Well I will have another good weekend since My Eagles won. 8-). Beaufort has really impressed me this season. I really hope that they can keep it up.

Here is the writeup about the game from LowcoSports: https://lowcosports.com/2020/10/24/hsfb ... ion-crown/

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!

He is just jealous of Beaufort High. His team managed to win 2nd place in a super weak Region. One and dunn for Bambi Inc. in the playoffs this year. They are 3-1 against Region 7AAAAA. Probably get roasted in their final 2 games. Probably end up with 3 wins and 3 losses. 4th, maybe 5th best team in the Tri County area.

Beaufort owns the Beaufort-Jasper-Colleton Tri County area. And second best is so far down that we don't even know who they are. Green is not a good color for a Clown.
