Oceanside vs Gray Collegiate
Oceanside vs Gray Collegiate
I am heading over to Oceanside vs Gray Collegiate this Friday Night at Johnson Hagood Memorial Stadium. Anybody got any tips on what players to watch for from Gray? Should be a great matchup of two affiliate programs that are both undefeated currently.

Re: Oceanside vs Gray Collegiate
This was as good a matchup as I have seen this season. The game went into overtime and finished with Gray's winning 40-34 over Oceanside. Grays has one hell of a running back in a kid named Kz Adams. He is small, powerful, fast, and has a low center of gravity which makes him difficult to tackle once he gets moving. He is a game-changer and could give Abbeville a problem in their run for the upper state championship this season.
If Oceanside had a snapper or holder (couldn't figure out who was the problem, two botched extra pts) this game would have ended in regulation. The kicker has a leg, just missed bearly from 52 yards. Oceanside needs a season or two under Joe to develop but they played a good game overall. One TD by Grays that was a pass interference call against Oceanside was clearly wrong. The receiver clearly pushed the defender down and no one else was around them. BAD CALL!! I would love to see the replay on that play if I am wrong.
On a sad note, a player for Oceanside was hit with a vicious crackback block on a kickoff in the 4th qtr. We had to wait for almost 15 minutes for EMS to arrive to put him on a backboard and take him in an ambulance to the hospital. What the hell happen to schools being required to have an EMS at games?? Ridiculous!! It was a moving sight to see all his teammates surround him before he was taken off the field.
