Gaffney wins defensive struggle

Post by Chief Bojack »

Gaffney wins the game where both defenses struggled to stop a play with less than a 10 yard gain. Mauldin accomplished it twice; on the plays that Gaffney fumbled the snap.

It was another Gaffney miracle, two TDs in a minute span, a two point conversion and an onside kick recovery. A heart attack special no doubt.
It's Friday night in the fall, I'm at the reservation. Where else is there?

Can you or any other Indian fans post a more indepth recap? I was getting texts about that game. Heard you were down 11 points with 3 mins to play as we were leaving the game last night and we all said, "Well that game is over."

I guess Gaffney and Dorman have had some embarrassing wins this season maybe but dang, there comes a point in a season or in a game where who you're playing just doesn't matter as much as getting that win. Congrats to Gaffney on both the Dorman win and the Mauldin win. Two great performances when you needed it most.

No such thing.
Cringeworthy, but not embarrassing. 8-)

Agree.
I think Gaffney learned the difference last year against Wade Hampton.
