Let's be real here folks....West Ashley is not afraid to play Daniel. They play Fort D on regular basis. The fact is covid is back and this season will be negatively impacted, and if there is a season at all it will likely be a mirror image of last season. The other issue about that game is day and location and knowing River Bluff's and Rich/Lex 5's aversion to risk when it pertains to covid, they would have likely pulled the rug out on that game. Folks need to be a little less concerned on whether their team breaks a scoring record and a little more concerned about the 7 day average for new covid cases is over 2900. Remember, it's just a kids' game at the end of the day. Do I hate that this season is probably going to look like last season, if at all...yes, very much so. At the end of the day, these coaches and administrators are entrusted with the health and well-being of those student athletes. They will mitigate the risk as best they can. If games get cancelled...they get cancelled. Be safe folks...

Daniel has more to lose playing that game than the Ducks . Yet they want to play . Their afraid to play because they don’t want a beat down. If you have five days to prepare and can’t get your team ready well that’s on you. You have your opinion and I have mine.
It's pretty amazing that you know how they're feeling all the way in the other part of the state.... I would personally be willing to bet money that if you asked the West Ashley players if they're scared of Daniel, they would laugh at that comment. There is nothing I've seen any where that would make me even consider that they're scared to play. Now, their coaching staff, their Athletic Director and their district administrative staff are probably scared.... scared that they could face trouble if they have a COVID outbreak there in West Ashely if they don't follow the procedures that are recommended... as in LEGAL troubles ($$$$$$) as you can be certain there are lawyers standing by ready to file class action lawsuits if there is any possibility that they can line their pockets.

Yup....have to "love" the litigious society in which we live these days.

The coronabros are starting to run for cover, and clamor to retreat to their basements. Apparently, those in the lower state have come unglued quicker than others. A shame as life has to go on, but it seems that some just can't give it up. These kids that they are so concerned about are in more danger of dying from driving to and from practice. Can't live life in a bubble. But some are going to try.
