I have never been so happy to be so wrong about a football game. Beaufort played a great game from Kickoff until the final whistle. BC is the 3rd ranked 4A school in Georgia, loaded with D1 commits, and athletes everwhere that you look. Their QB is an Auburn commit.

I mean no disrespect to any 4A team in this state, but we beat the most talented team that we will play this season, no matter how far we go. That team is loaded. We were slightly overmatched at a few skill positions, but we beat them up front. Our defensive line and our offensive front controlled this game. We never turned the ball over all night, and only punted with 1 minute remaining in the game. We were backed up midway through the 3rd quarter and gave up an own safety. Our defense finally gave up 2 scores, our first given on the season. We also had a KO return for a TD against us in the 1st quarter.

I don't have the official stats, but we had over 500 yards total offense, probably over 600. 2 of our top 4 wideouts were on the sideline in walking boots tonight. This is the best Beaufort High team in my 55 plus seasons watching them. And they play with swagger and confidence.

We now own the sate of Georgia, 3 and 0 against the best teams in this part of the state. Next week, the Worst Ashley Mildkats come to the Eagle's Nest. Y'all got next.


And Mr. Doolittle, there has to be a change at the top of your computer rankings in 4A next week.

Wow......What a Game!!!!! This was a VERY HUGE WIN by My Eagles Football Team. This was one of the Biggest Wins in Beaufort Football History. Hardly anyone especially the people in Georgia and the Georgia Media expected Beaufort to win this game over highly ranked Benedictine. Beaufort looked really really good in this game. Beaufort's Offense moved the ball all night as the Eagles had close to 600 total yards in this game. Beaufort QB Tyler Haley had a Monster Game with almost 300 yards passing, 1 passing TD, 60 yards Rushing, and 2 rushing TDS. Beaufort RB Amariee Morris had a great game running the Football and Beaufort's WR'S Reichel,Michael Dennison, and Zyrin Odom had great games catching the Football. The Beaufort "D" did an amazing job stopping Benedictine's High Octane Offense led by Auburn QB Commit Holden Geriner for most of the night.

I agree with Penguin that this is the best overall Beaufort Football Team that I have seen in my lifetime. My Eagles are LOADED this season!!!! If Covid doesn't affect the program then I think this Beaufort Team can go far. This is a BIG STATEMENT WIN by Beaufort. Benedictine was one of the best teams in Georgia this season in 4A and overall. The Cadets have a lot of Division 1 Talent on their team and can recruit all over Georgia. So this is a HUGE WIN by My Eagles!!!!

I hope and pray that Beaufort keeps playing like they have. They look really good. This was a great start to My Weekend!!!!
