Ashley Ridge vs. Fort

I was very impressed with Ashley Ridge on last night. Unless I missed it, they didn't allow a sack on their QB and moved the ball well. QB from Ashley Ridge was small but played a good game. AR defense also played with a purpose. A lot to clean up with Fort. The unsportsmanlike penalties were excessive.

Well when you say good ball and the shit show throws a unsportsmanlike flag what can you do.(besides shut up) Yes there were a couple of them that were quite perplexing.

AR got away with a lot of shoving after.and thier coach should never shove one of our players .thats bush league bullskit.
A sideline penalty/warning should have issued for comming onto the field.

We had quite few that were deserved .
I do not feel they were distributed equally though.
I dont care what they call just call it everywhere.
We got popped oob twice no flag we got flagged when we did it.
Taunted no flag .when a player points in a DB face its taunting.

I also feel the refs let to much go on .they lost control .
The white hat didn't throw a flag for 3.5 qtrs threw 4 or 5 in the last 5 minutes.
The stripes should have stopped the bull crap early.
I ferl that was a issue also.
But we do have to recognize it and do our part and not let emotions get in the way of our mission.
Qb runs gets tackled goes to get up gets shoved back down infront of a ref no call.
Ar did what they could .was not happy with our O.dropped balls you name it.
We were a bit flat .big game last week goose creek next .
We got chewed and deservedly so .
Did we commit penalties sure .more than we should have absolutely.
I dont know if we pissed the stripes off or what .
We had about 3 or 4 penalties ill watch on film but i felt were bogus .
One holding call our guard was straight in the dlines chest
Very clean block .no shoulders had his pads pushed up in his grill .really killed our momentum on that drive .
Our tackle had a bit of a problem with a DE so im sure his holding was good call. Wasnt drop stepping and kicking back to cut him off.gotta push him back behind qb use his momentum.

Our line had a pocket qb ran into danger cant do that either.
Really puts you at a disadvantage.
The one jail break play my olineman the only one that had his guy still .i was like that aint good .
But my kid had his guy so that was a personal plus lol.


But yeah we played ugly also .that will be addressed.
Was a typical trap game .after a big emotional win and a opponent we have marked on our calendar.
We will learn from it and move on .
Im sure sunday practice is going to be lovely .

All and all we gotta be smarter and recognize when they are
Going to be flag heavy and adjust .
I believe we got the qb once or twice .not tyoical killing sacks buy we flushed and got him

Well said. Think we werent focused at all. That myrtle beach game was an emotional game due to all that went on during the week with weather and the electricity issues at the school. A lot of adversity. And also having to face goose creek who had players talking smack at a scrimmage we had with Oceanside. We have to take all teams serious and bring that intensity every game

Look at this bullseet from a band parent.

Hats off the the Ashley Ridge band last night for sticking around to hear the Ft Dorchester band “after the game”. The Ft. Dorchester football team didn’t even do that.
Also a big for Ft. Dorchester School for not allowing the band to play at half time. Those kids bust their butts as many if not more hours than the football team. They’ve not been home for the past 2 Saturday’s with commitments they’ve made to the school for the football team. They get home at 7:30-8 o’clock every night from practice! I would love to know the decision making process here? Really? Play at the end of the game? Shame on the administration for their lack of respect.

Homecoming was at half wtf does this guy want a hour half time .
Our football team needed to clear the field we did so.
It was xhippy plus we played bad .
This guy has issues .
Maybe our guys didnt want to watch the band anyway wtf.
