1973 Fort Johnson High School . Beat clinton in state championship game Coach was Wayne Sweeney.

Coach Sweeney became head coach at 96
From 1986 thru 1990 his best year was 1989 9-2

HE WAS A HARD ASS, AND RAN OFF PLAYERS, WANDO , HE ONLY HAD LIKE 25. HE CAME BACK TO LINCOLN AND FINISHED HIS CAREER AT BURKE I THINK.

Coach Sweeney's 1975 Fort Johnson team was 12-1 but lost in lower state championship when they fumbled twice in last 3 minutes of the game when they were up by a touchdown. They were the number one ranked team in the state at the time. He averaged over 9 wins a year in his six years at Fort Johnson. Should have never left because his hard ass approach was a good fit at F.J. back then.
