Defense comes up big as South completes perfect regular season

FLORENCE, S.C. — South Florence made history Friday night and has its defense to thank for it. The Bruins’ defense shut down West Florence’s offense and made a key defensive stand on the final drive of the game in defeating the Knights 9-3 at Memorial Stadium.
