Just so people know what actually happened....
Gwood went up 7 nothing.... NA tied it up at 7..... Gwood went up 14-7.... NA tied it up at 14.... Gwood went up 21-14..... NA had a 4th& goal inside the gwood 1 yard line, gave it to their best running back and he got stuffed at the 1.... Gwood takes over at their own 1 with about 4 min left.... Drives the ball about 80 yards by getting 1st downs. Made NA burn there last 2 time-outs and then took a knee to end the game. So North Augusta didn't "almost win". They almost tied.

Very good game. Happy to get a win. Backup fullback for gwood rushed for 200 something yards.... Will have to get an official stat on that.
It was an exciting game tonight in a downpour. GwoodEagle2k1, you summed it up nicely.

I'm glad we manage to pull the win out tonight. North Augusta is not a bad football team. Their QB is tall and have a strong arm. They will win some ball games down the road.

I can go by that. Turnovers are part of the game and if your doing a lot of it then that says a lot about your team.
That bolsters the argument.
As I said. Can't go by that. Took better care of the ball.

Lol so you didn’t turn it over and you won.
I guess you can go by that. Thanks for proving my point .

So if Greenwood had lost you could just say it was because North Augusta did better against Dorman which is what it sounded like you were saying in the 1st place. But Greenwood won so now you say it's because we didn't turn it over. I guess you're one of those folks that are never wrong regardless of what happens haha lol.

Congrats to Daniel. Y'all have been a machine for some time now. Thanks for your congrats on our win. As you said we definitely needed it.

The only point proven is you can't use common opponents and just say one or the other will win. Too many variables at play. You are right that it was a much needed win for the kids. But you play these tough schedules to figure out where you really are and what you need to work on. There are definitely things to work on.
