I met him that night and we talked for a good bit about a lot of football

I’ll let him tell you what happened

No one ever brings up that it shouldn’t have even come to that because we dropped a Td at the end of regulation
But whatever

When wren won 4A in 2019
Ask them who was the only team they lost to.

Again easy to bash when you don’t even claim a team.

I’m glad you recognize the hater you are
27 and counting
7 state titles not including the 3 we don’t count as the central lions
2nd most wins in the state since 1990 trailing only Dillon
And yes Fruster was struggling and made the hire of wofford. Shouldn’t he get credit for recognizing the deficiencies and making a correction.

Fun fact 1952 both Central and Pickens won their respective classification state titles...(and yes Pickens beat Central that year and yes Greenville beat Pickens that year....the 1950s...about the last time Greenville was a state powerhouse...lol)

Let’s all agree on this. Daniel stunk for a couple years and Fruster was about to be run out of town til they hired Page Wofford. He changed that program. They are playing against the old 2A teams. They will win the state for next 2 years til they have to move up to 4A. Where the competition is tougher. I know I know they beat SP a couple years ago (even tho everyone knows who watched it that Daniel came up short and they gave it to them) and I’m gonna get bashed for posting this and I’m a hater. Hopefully that covers everything.

When the only times you reply are to hate on Daniel I think that does classify you as a hater.

I wouldn't be so fast about crowning Daniel as the state champs for the next few years. Trent Pearman was their quarterback during the past 2 championship seasons. Now he's gone. Blake Symons is good but he is not Pearman! I'm not so sure they get by Powdersville or BHP this year in the playoffs and Clinton might also give them a hard time if they match up. Daniel's HC should have made the non region schedule just a little bit tougher in my opinion. We'll see if that comes back to bite them in the playoffs.

Clinton...no. Newberry was in the game with them and Chapin beat Newberry like a rented mule Friday night. Clinton can't pass and if you stop their run...they are sunk. BHP beat Westside first game true enough, but let Woodruff stick around the other night and Woodruff is awful. Not drinking the Powdersville Kool-Aid just yet. Might be a good team but not good enough to beat Daniel. Honestly, no one in the upper state is in the league with DWD that I see. Lowerstate....no one jumps out...except...Dillon, perhaps. The tradition and the Jimmys and Joes to match. Just have to wait and see. Don't see anyone in 3A getting much closer than Hart County did the other night...only exception maybe...and that is a big maybe would be Dillon. Still think D. Wistar is the horse to beat in that race.

Don't sleep on Powdersville. They don't have a lot of Dudes, but the cats they do have get after it.

Not sure what is going on with BHP... they should be better than they have been recently. Maybe they are dealing with the Greenwood Syndrome.

Clinton is another... I could only guess why/how much money it took to make the HC leave a power like Lammer to go to a hit or miss team like Clinnon. Will he ultimately be able to make a difference.

Dannel ain't good or bad b/c of Fruster or Wofford... Dannel's always been good (and sometimes bad), but the thing that is Tigger High has always been there to buoy the ups and downs for the kids at Six Mile.

Dillin will still be Dillin as long as the Hayes influence iis in effect. It must be nice to be the HC knowing your school board is selected by the very members of General Assembly you are a part of.

Lol Hart county would literally beat every team you mentioned by 2 scores or more. Greer should have Byrnes all they could handle. I would bet they would beat all those teams as well. We still got to win the games no matter who is front of us . But do you not think we won’t get better as the season goes on as well. People forget Pearman didn’t even start for us 2 years ago . He was the backup and being pushed by the seegars kid for that spot .Turns put him being that good just opened it up more for Daniel.
Everyone was worried we wouldn’t be any good after Venebles. Heck our 2nd string qb this year has been better than any qb we’ve faced so far. I think we’re good.
