I’ve seen a couple of comments about where did PVille come from, how are they so successful, etc. I’ll tell you, blood, sweat, tears & a lot of love. Our school is only 12 yrs old. 7-8 years ago a group of guys broke away from Wren youth and started a Rec program in PVille. We had no where to practice outside of church fields and a muddy dump of an abandoned park. We played all our games on the road against anybody that would play. We finally secured a “home” and then lost it to a soccer club. Through it all the kids stuck together. Fast forward and what you’re seeing is a group of Srs. and some Jrs. that have been together for 5 yrs or so. In that span they’ve only lost a handful of games. We also have pretty much the same core of coaches that genuinely care about our kids. We’re building something great over here and I hope it continues.
