Who ranks these kids for recruiting?
Re: Who ranks these kids for recruiting?
Didn't research it that far, but all those OL players under 6/4 on the University team roster conquered that recruiting threshold.

Re: Who ranks these kids for recruiting?
You do know that Clemson carries the maximum number of rostered athletes allowed by the NCAA. They have 125 kids in the program, and there is an 85 scholarship limit. That's 40 kids that are paying to play. Now I'm sure there's some school wide rule that allow employee's children to go to school for free, so I'm guessing the Swinney boys don't pay tuition And there more than several on the roster that are HS coach's sons or recruiting factory HS kids that get the preferred walk-on that helps to grease future recruiting ties.
I am in no way trying to disparage any player; recruited or whom walked on. But you don't keep your job at a Clemson if you recruit 3 stars just because they 'get after it'. If a Dabo has a 5 star come in and flops, then that's viewed as being on the player. If a recruited 3 star flops, then fans are wondering why their coach is getting out recruited.
Are there recruited players that just don't quite get to the 'measurable'? Sure. But if you're a WR and are 5'9", you better be able to run like you stole something and catch everything in sight.
Here are the OL from the roster. Again I'm not going to name names and I'm not putting anyone down what so ever.

Re: Who ranks these kids for recruiting?
Yeah, there's more than one OL under 6/4 that was recruited by Clemson. Thanks for the research.

Sorry that South Carolina's DL commit didn't live up to recruiting analysts expertise in the loss at Dillon.

Re: Who ranks these kids for recruiting?
Was he double teamed and/or had the RB chip-in to help protect their QB?
Re: Who ranks these kids for recruiting?
Are we getting in the weeds over how tall some recruited players are?

Didn't notice as the running backs were passing by him while the offensive line were dominating the line of scrimmage. Here's some highlights of the game.YellowJacket99 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 12:46 pmWas he double teamed and/or had the RB chip-in to help protect their QB?
