They certainly were last night. Too many mistakes by Summerville and FDs running backs were very fast and hard to bring down. #2 for them hurt us throughout the game. Giving up 14 points on 2 pick sixes finally did us in. We get Conway Friday which I expect to win. Next up would be likely Lexington who was 8-1 prior to losing last night 63-7 to Dutch Fork who is likely this year's state champion. I could see that game being difficult to win but we are at at home where we are undefeated this year. Looking forward to seeing the entire bracket. How is a 3 way region tie decided for playoff seeding in Region 6? Somebody is not going to get the automatic bid but could then get an at large.
Thought we could have played better and were a bit conservative.

As fast as spells is why in the hell they don't try to get
Him on the edges to get some room is baffling .
60% up the gut .crazy.
Been that way all year...
We have the fastest RB in the state and they run him between the tackles... Go figure 🤔
Not impressed with the O.C....
But Congratulations to Fort on the win.....

You know sometimes life gets in the way and you have to put things in order....
We used to scrimmage Conway every year ...
but last year the Conway coach got pissed about something in the middle of the
3rd qtr and he packed up his team and left....
So this year we didn't scrimmage with them....
Not sure what the issue was......But I was impressed with their QB last year ....
but when I looked at some of their scores this year
You have to scratch your head

Fort and Summerville could meet again but I would be surprised. I do believe Fort D makes it back to Columbia. Summerville would have to get by Conway, likely Lexington and Sumter just to get to the lower state game. Lexington looked solid prior to the DF game but I think DF will make alot of good teams look sub-par. If I had to pick today, I could see a Fort D vs Lexington lowerstate game.

It will probably be Fort at Sumter to go to state out of the lower bracket.
Lexington beat Stratford by 14 at home and the WAVE beat Stratford by 17 playing some backups
Towards the end of the game...... the game in Summerville I would like our Chances ....
In order for the Wave to get to state the play calling will need to get better.
And the defense will need to tackle better..
#18 Spells has 1080 yards for the season running between the tackles.
Just imagine if they could find a way to get him on the corners
And we still have 3or4 starters on Defense that hasn't played in weeks....
But first the only worry is Conway...

You could. Just use spells speed on thr corners I'd throw him in the slot throw it let him get it who can catch him .if they double or blitz slip your tE out dump it off.
Capable of 14 21 more points a game .
