Georgetown Open
The Georgetown job has been posted on the district's website
Re: Georgetown Open
I thought Jimmy Noonan would stick it out there. Georgetown has won in the past but it’s been in bad shape for a while now. It’s going to take a special coach that can sell the kids on discipline and coaching, then get the community behind him. Plenty of athletes in Georgetown to win in 3A.

Re: Georgetown Open
Studs are developed from athletes. Very few just happen from thin air. Georgetown has had problems for a long time. No coach has been able to stick it out long enough to get things fixed. I thought Noonan was a veteran that could fix it. Sometimes kids won’t accept discipline.

I wonder if there will be some openings in the “County” north of Georgetown….

I agree 100% with this. Definitely plenty of Athletes but the coaching and structure has never been there. I think Bradley Adams has something special brewing until he bolted for Union County. It wasn’t long ago he had them competing with Conway and MB. Interesting to see who they can find. Waccamaw found a decent coach so they should be able too as well.Tigerific wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 5:57 pmI thought Jimmy Noonan would stick it out there.
