Dillon vs Beaufort

Well, the Lower State 3A Title game is set to take place in Dillon, SC next Friday night. We welcome the Beaufort Eagles to our Memorial Stadium. That being said, let the chatter began!! Here's a post of last night's game with Camden.

I am looking forward to this HUGE GAME CATSPROWL!!!! It should be a great game to watch!!!! I am really looking forward to My 1st trip to Dillon's Stadium.

Yeah.....if its your first trip here to Dillon's White Walls then you're in for a treat. We have a great fireworks display prior to the real fireworks kicking off. Some good hot food there too to keep the cold bones warm as well. I have quite a few friends still living in Beaufort, but I haven't been there that much since retiring from the Corps. I was stationed there at the Air Station for 6 years, so I made a lot of friends there on St Helena Island. I remember that my then girlfriend's sister had a son named Gerald Legree that was the big name back then for you guys as a RB.
This should be one knockout drag'em out game. Really looking forward to the show these young men are going to put on for us.

That is so cool CATSPROWL! I can't wait for this game and to see Dillon's Stadium. I heard it is a very cool atmosphere. I remember Gerald Legree well. He was one of Beaufort's best RB'S ever. That is awesome that you were stationed at MCAS Beaufort. Thanks for serving our Great Country! I hope to meet you at the BIG GAME!

CATSPROWL, I saw that you can't bring any bags inside the stadium. What about clear bags? Also, what restaurants do you recommend in Dillon? Is South of the Border still in operation? Thanks so much for any Info!

Yeah....SOB is still opened, and operating on all cylinders. They now have a Barbecue Ribs Restaurant, which is pretty good. Also, there is B &C Restaurant, along with The fast food barrage of eateries available. Sad to say we don't yet have any national chain restaurants yet. As for the bags, well I'm unsure of the rules surrounding those. But I would advise of not bringing them in, unless you don't mind making the trip back to your vehicle. As for my service, well your extremely welcome....it was a pleasure serving.

I'm really starting to lean towards maybe coming to see you guys play a second time. Was thinking about going to Gaffney at first but it's been a minute since we saw each other. I'm not sure what my situation will be Friday night but I'll message you on FB if I get headed that way.

Cool Beans Guy.....Personally, I think we're the better draw. But to be transparent if I wasn't a Dillon Fan at heart, I'd probably be catching that South Florence vs AC Flora game. That's gonna be a Barn Burner too.

Thanks, I think. LOL. I actually have Dillon set as a location on my Weather Channel page. I saw that earlier. The kids don't mind, I'm sure. But us old farts hate a damp, cold, rainy, night. Makes them joints ache!
