Palmetto Interviews

Post by MrFootball68 »

Started Monday, ending today. The job belongs to the Powdersville OC is the word except- according to what they were looking for (10 years experience)- he is not qualified. Lets see how this plays out.

Understand they pay pretty well down there, but Plametto is an awful tough job in that region that a lot of established head coaches might look to avoid

Principal is a big problem there . They don’t have the athletes but the principal is awful . Guy has a serious ego problem. Was told by a parent that he had the SRO charge a kid with assault for throwing a Dorito . Yep Big Robbie runs a tight ship

Uggghhh I hope he doesn't leave Pville. It'd be really ironic if he takes the Palmetto job. They just railroaded his former highschool HC and got him out of there. But, I have heard that he put in for the Pickens job, that's a head scratcher, he put in for the Wren job but they already wanted Frate so I've been told they want him to have the Palmetto job. If he leaves Pville it'll be a big loss not just for the team but for the school. He's a special ed teacher and he's a good one with those kids. I get it you want to advance your career but I figured the only thing that'd entice him to leave would be to be a GA at a college or eventually an OL coach. He's a great guy, great coach and teacher.

Stay at PVHS and wait for a better job. They have built a good program and he will have better opportunities. Lack of athletes , kids and community don’t really care and a bad principal. Pay is good but most days will be hard to get through
