Yep . 2017 . Drivers Ed teacher and assistant coach
Just to put an end to the insight that "Hayes" has on the Lamar job.
1. I have not applied
2. I'm not going to apply
3. I'm already retired, but still working.
4. I will not be coaching at Laurens next fall, but will continue to teach.
5. Since Mr. Cooper is well informed and "in the know" and somehow knows "I want to keep going," If I did, I would still be. Give me a call and we can discuss the reasons behind my decision.

You got that right.... every young and up and coming coach, if they are smart, will fall all over themselves to try and get this job.

Get the job, spend 3-4 years of playing for or playing in the finals... wining a couple and then catapult to bigger, higher paying job.

Resume building 101.

Any word on this job? I know its a 1A job but I figured a lot of coaches would go after this one. Historically a good program, has athletes, admins seem to want to win, but they haven't had a coach stay more than a two or three years lately.

Kind of surprised this isn’t filled . Does anyone know if Kevin Smith the DC at BHP applied ? I know he is looking for a head job. Has anyone heard anything?
