Dutch Fork vs Northwestern

Great scrimmage for both teams. Trojans are way ahead on defense over last year. Offense will be very good again as the OL matures. Both teams will have a long season ahead. Playing a team like the foxes is perfect for preparing for the season. Week 0 here we come. Let’s get ready for PDS at Bank of America.

Spartanburg won on the last play I believe..
29-24..they were a lot of players played on both sides.. it was a scrimmage.. NW has some size upfront. They both did what you want.. they got better they got to play kids.

Saw a little film on DF scrimmages...first against Greenville and then NW. Didn't see much film so really hard to tell a lot. Saw some good things against both. Think TK is experimenting some throwing more than last season, as well as with the OL rotation. Defense will be solid. Just experimenting a little with the offensive identity post-Jarvis Green. Need to work on turnovers and penalties. Penalties always seems to be DFs biggest weakness. The QB may be pressing some, but some of that is the different line ups on the OL and trying to get rid of the ball. Hunt is a senior and its his team- Offing is in the wings if needed. Call me crazy, but I believe Coach Knotts will have most of the bugs worked out by the time region play starts.NHSTrojan wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 9:59 amBe interested in the DF perspective.
