In the Byrnes game Spartanburg struggled with the pass.
Can it be corrected in a week?
If Gaffney sells out to stop the run (single coverage on all receivers) and sends random extra blitzers, my money will be on the Indians.
[/quote Spartanburg defense ain’t no joke just to let you know.U might stop the offense but can you rush on the defense. They limited Byrnes to 1 td on offense and that was it..
Byrnes also had a weak passing game against Spartanburg.
I think Gaffney can pass the ball better than 'Burg or Rebs.
Indians also have a couple of big yardage rb's.

Our "D" was the star of the show for the Rebels no doubt.... but that has been the storyline all season. We ran the ball in the first half some, but then when that was gone, we were done on the offensive side of the ball. We have to be able to run to set up the pass (which is the theme for most teams I guess). If we have a powerhouse performance from the O Line, we can play with anyone.
I think the state is up for grabs this year. DF doesn’t seem to be a threat but if Northwestern moves in then theirs a problem. They are as advertised..

Moves in??? NW is 4a no matter what.
Better be thankful they are..
