THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Post by bringthewood »

Why am I seeing so many HS moving their varsity games from Friday to Thursday? Field issues? Attendance? College Saturdays?

I know back in the ancient past (50-60ish years ago) there were many teams that played on 'Thursday Night Lights' because there was no establish HS pattern and/or the local town mills/factories/economy justified such.

Just courteous.

I'm hearing they are expecting thunderstorms and rain, and they don't want to deal with that on Homecoming or Senior Night.

Our game with Westside got moved due to the chance of rain and it is Westside's homecoming.
