There is absolutely nothing that a HC can do to help get the principal get his next job.

No they screwed Josh over IMHO. I'm not sure thr A.D. was in a position to do much after just being hired .3timestatechamp wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:17 pmLast season the interim coach had zero administrative support and probably some staff that might have had an interest in him not being back as the head coach next season. Do you think them notifying him that Friday morning before the game that the position would definitely be reopened is good professional ethics or not?Deputy wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 9:48 pmSaw Fort D play WK in the playoffs last year. The size and speed for Fort D was still there but something was missing. I think WK could have scored 100 if they had wanted to. Then Fort D goes and hires a coach from Florida that had a losing record. Confusing times at Fort D
Writing was on the wall when they opened that job up.
That surely didn't help having a game that day either.
That took the focus off for sure if we knew the players knew . I'm under no illusion that they could have beat white knoll. But they needed focus to have any chance .
That should be a warning for any coach in the future .
Every coach I've talked to may not publicly say it.
But they damn sure think along the same path.
If this guy don't pan out .they may never recover .
This guy has good intentions.
But the path to hell is paved with good intentions. It is what it is though.
What happened to Josh is a slap in the face to him and anyone that worked with him and the players he coached . It's a shame .
