I don’t have my voice this morning as me and my entourage had to scream at the top of our lungs at White hat that the clock was stopped after a May Riva RUNNING play with 3:11 left in game and Bluffton up 24-21 after a 45 YRD FG to take lead with 4:30 left.
Long story short….May Riva fumbled on 4th and 2 at Bluffton 17 with 36 secs left to end game.

Yes your eyes aren’t playing tricks….2 flags….1 delay and 1 illegal procedure…NO Holding, no late hits, no personal foul…that does NOT happen in high school football.
Everyone holds and gets flagged for it at least 1 per game but not in this one.
PRAYERS needed for Bluffton running back as he took a hit to head and an ambulance ride to hospital mid 4th quarter.
Apparently no ambulance on site for this game…but they did have EMS hero’s and firefighters there to stabilize him until ambulance got there…about 35 minutes after play happened.
May Riva runs the ball well and will make noise in playoffs.
On to the Bridge Bowl against Hilton Head next Friday at home for region crown!!!
