If the Silver Foxes get past Boiling Springs - rematch with the gators.

So with Coach Randy Birch being in his 1st year at Rock Hill would you say that is a good season for a 1st year at Rock Hill considering the struggles they have had over the last 5 years or so

If Coach Birch is committed to the long haul, I would consider this year reasonably successful, considering the mountain he has to climb. He needs to build his staff and eliminate a lot of holdovers. He will do well to get this class graduated. He will start next year with some solid returning talent. Don’t go shopping at the Gaffney portal store for a QB and create more drama again. Build the culture. Nobody would have told him this job was easy or fast. If he’s not in for the long haul, leave now. The process will be too hard to quite in the middle.

To Me: "it was a successful year"! Keeping in mind; that does not mean you are ready for the top of the 5A class. It was a win in my eyes; because RH beat teams they should beat. That is more than you could say on a consistent basis the last few years. Rock Hill has a tight end at Alabama(Oustz). And, are about to have a kid at S. Carolina(Clarke 4-star WR). Do they have talent all over the field like they used to in the Ringer days; no. But, enough talent mixed with really hard working kids to be competitive. To me, without a ton of difference making players that is what RH has to rely on. If Birch can bring that out on a consistent basis; he will do well. I think RH like most of the schools in Rock Hill; will always have "some playmakers"! RH maybe doesn't have as many; but sometimes you just need a few in key areas.
Choose to Lead or you should choose to "get out the way" of those who will lead!
